I can remember just a few months ago when I was employed how Thursday was almost like 2 days before vacation. I looked forward to 2 days off in a row with my family. Now, it's still exciting because I can see him when he comes home for lunch and know that the weekend is close so more time with him.
This weekend is our "Christmas". Due to being unemployed, we decided to postpone our Christmas with each other till Jan 18th. Generally the kids are with their Dad on the third weekend and Hubs and I thought this would stretch our funds. We could browse the after Christmas sales and possibly get something we need at a bargain. I'm looking forward to Saturday :).
Yesterday the dishes were washed and the clothes, I finished the headscarves for my Mom and I didn't look at photo's. Nope, instead I jumped in and started on my Men's tie crazy quilt. It's coming together. I also drew more to see if I could get feathers down before I put them on a quilt with my Longarm. I don't have a Long arm, I have a quilting machine that's called a Long Arm due to the throat space it has to be able to quilt by machine with a long "arm". If I can just get my short arms to load a quilt! It's getting closer.
Today's been pretty busy, got the dishes washed by 8am, talked to Mom on the phone and my Sister on the phone. Hubs has checked in and let me know he has lunch in about 50 mins. Dogs are barking to go outside and my crazy quilt is waiting for me to add to it. I set my alarm for 15 minutes earlier and I think it's helped kick start me into being a little more productive.
